Special Instructions prior to services

One Week Prior to Scheduled Service

  • Please do not use ANY Retinol or Vitamin A products. 
  • Avoid waxing, laser hair removal, and depilatory creams.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure. 
  • Do not receive injections or fillers for at least 10 days prior to your scheduled service. 
  • For ANY peel treatments, follow specific instructions given to you by your provider.  
  • Please make sure your skin health assessment and consents are completed before your appointment. 

Day of Scheduled Service

  • Please do not use AHA, BHA and benzoyl peroxide products. 
  • Stop any exfoliating products. 
  • Avoid wearing make-up to your appointment. 
  • If you have open wounds or active cold sores, please wait until they are healed before getting a facial. 
  • If you’re prone to cold sores, prophylactic medications should be used prior to treatment. Contact your prescribing physician for instructions. 
  • Please call or text (470) 992-7504 or email deanna@theluminousbeautybar.com, if you have questions or concerns.  

Cancellation policy

Reschedule or Cancellation within 24-Hours of Appointment

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of $50.

No Show and/or No Call

If you do not show up for your appointment, your card on file will be charged 100% of your service cost.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive  within 5-10 minutes late,  an expedited facial will be completed. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment, a no show fee will be charged .

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We have a 30-day return policy for skin-care products purchased, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item(s) must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.

To start a return, please contact us via email at deanna@theluminousbeautybar.com. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.


We will notify you once we’ve received and have inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method minus the cost of shipping. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. 


Please note: there are NO refunds for any services provided in the studio or refunds on memberships, gift cards or packages purchased. Payment is expected at time of service.
